Personality
-Murderous: The is no difference between natural death and murder for him. It's death all the same.
-Incredibly Smart: He is a genius, although the average person would call him mad.
-Trustworthy: Avery will never lie to another. He will withhold information, however.
-Secretive: With such a backstory as him, it is in his favor to have his past stay behind him.

History
The Doctor's journey began when he was a student at medical school. He was approached by the successful biologist Jacques Monod. He had given Avery an opportunity to join him in his lab tests, and become his partner. At the young age of 19, Avery was estatic to join him. Two weeks later, Avery found himself in front of an extemely mutilated human body, just barely clinging to life. He had thought of it as demonic and evil what they were doing in the labs, but eventually he had accepted it as what he was meant to do. Monod had told him that this was the only way to test his theories on the human body.
Jumping three years into the future, The Doctor had been testing the affects of various diseases on a set of twins, using one as the standard of comparison and the other as the test subject. He had just finished injecting the patient with numerous doses of different diseases when the lights fluttered out. The place went into a riot. Many of the imprisoned subjects escaped and killed many of the other doctors in the facility. He had gotten out without injury, finding that the rest of the area had also been blacked out. After a few days, word came by that the whole world was said to be 'out'. He started doing his research on a much smaller scale with small hand cranks to power what he needed most.
Thirty years later, he spends his days looking over his research, re-testing his experiments, and making the small hand cranks he uses for his temporary power in the blacked out world. Ocasionally he has to fight off groups of raiders with little difficulty, as his defense systems seem to be unfailing. He also has unrivaled marksmanship and fighting capability, despite being nearly 53.
