Personality

Jonathon is a fairly blunt and snide individual, typically leaning on wit and sarcasm to get through the world. He's a very curious soul though, often digging into places he should not have to find things he wasn't supposed to because they're there. The idea of the Pre-Surge world has always intrigued him, even if his parents were both fairly young themselves when it happened. Whenever a chance to go scavenging through anything with Pre-Surge things presents itself he will take it. Very rarely will he put someone else's needs and safety over his own, though he does have a soft spot that can be reached.

History

Jonathon's parents met as children and grew up together in a post surge community in Chicago before they fell in love and wound up having Jonathon. They raised him for as long as they could but it was apparent early on that Jonathon was quite the free spirit. Their community resided near an old library and Jonathon would often sneak off to explore it. As he got older he got more and more daring and would travel farther and farther away until the faithful day when he convinced a merchant caravan to let him travel with them. He did this until he heard about Tarmac and the treasure trove there. Saying his good byes and taking a rifle as well as a bag of other supplies, he set out, hoping to find this base and the veritable gold mine of pre-surge artifacts sealed within.
